Grandma’s House follows Montessori Method of teaching but also adopts good objectives from different methodologies like multiple theory of Intelligence, Reggio Emilia & Japanese kindergarten curriculum. The curriculum is designed keeping in mind the five important pillars in education. The school aims to impart key values of honesty, kindness and compassion in students and involve them in activities that show them the importance of their environment and its conservation. We also concentrate on the innate strengths of a child and provide them the much needed boost to develop their personalities and individual positive traits. The curriculum doesn’t just concentrate on core academics but also other crucial areas like physical and mental development. First time in India we have introduced the concept of children create their own books. Through which we found that the creativity, innovation, and the memory of the children are highly developed in a short time. Here children enjoy their classroom as it is filled with fun learning activities. They explore experiment and learn in their own pace. These activities are designed in the way that it not only helped in the academic development but also the different skills like social, cognitive, physical, emotional, and gross motor & fine motor skills. On the whole our classroom is a fun world for both children & teachers.
